2013 Firestone "New Year's" celebration

Congrats to Troop 919!

During Firestone's 2013 New Year's ceremony (March 2), our troop was the first troop of several that had their tombstone erected in Boot Hill. This honor was earned for completing 20 hours (or more) of service the previous year. It was a proud moment for the scouts that attended.

The dedication was hardly over before some unusual, seldom-sited indigenous life forms claimed a new home for themselves. They must be guarding the entrance to their mine from this new vantage point. (Maybe the mine isn't as abandoned as we originally thought.)
